The Elite Open-Thumb Spar Gloves are designed for all kinds of MMA sparring. The 4 layers of thick, foam padding over the knuckles and fingers makes them durable and tough enough for stand-up boxing style sparring but the open palm and thumb design makes them versatile and mobile enough to be used for all-out on the floor grappling. The Elite Open-Thumb Spar Gloves also have a wrap-around hook and loop closure that provides support and stability to the wrist and hand.
Sizing Tips
Use a cloth measuring tape, these keep their form against your knuckles better making for a true fit.
When measuring, make sure the cloth measuring tape wraps snuggly around the circumference of your knuckles.
If you plan on wearing the gloves with your hands wrapped, then wrap them before you measure.
You may need a second person to help measure your wrapped hands.
Small gloves are 7″ to 7.5, ” medium or regular are 7.5″ to 8,” large are 8″ to 8.5,” and extra large are 8.5″ and up.
